The Hive Wakefield Named Finalist for Team of the Year at the Wakefield Business Awards 2026

We are delighted to announce that The Hive Wakefield has been named a finalist in the Wakefield Business Awards 2026, having been shortlisted in the following category:

Team of the Year 🙌

The Wakefield Business Awards

The Wakefield Business Awards, organised by We Are Wakefield, celebrate excellence, innovation and achievement across the Wakefield district. The annual awards aim to showcase innovation, growth, and community impact, providing a platform for local businesses to gain recognition and connect with the wider business community.

The 2026 Wakefield Business Awards won't be The Hive Wakefield's first appearance at the event, as we previously won New Business of The Year at the 2022 awards.

Why The Hive Wakefield is a Finalist in the Wakefield Business Awards

Since the 2022 WBA, The Hive Wakefield has come a long way...

One of our huge successes over the last few years is that we have increased the number of both new and returning clients. As well as increasing new hot desk bookings, we also have a large number of returning meeting room clients who hire our meeting spaces weekly, monthly and quarterly.

The Hive Wakefield has also created a strong and loyal community of private office residents who have been with us for years and have described The Hive as an ‘Amazing place to work!’ on our public reviews.

We are proud to host so many fantastic businesses at The Hive and have great gratitude for those who continue to trust us.

Why Team of the Year?

The Hive Wakefield has achieved its success through a combination of teamwork, customer service, creative promotion, and consistency.

As a small team, each member of The Hive team must work hard to collaboratively balance multiple responsibilities, to keep everything running smoothly, and to keep our members thriving!

From handling enquiries quickly, to preparing meeting rooms, to welcoming guests on arrival, and supporting virtual office clients, our team have always ensured that customers receive a personal and professional experience throughout their time at The Hive Wakefield.

Teamwork and communication between our small team have hugely helped us achieve our goals, and our support for one another has ultimately strengthened the successes of the business.

We are so proud of our team, and it's great to be recognised by We Are Wakefield in the Wakefield Business Awards 2026.
